Travel to Legship in West Sikkim, 500 m from the main road. The temple is on the banks of the River Rangeet at the confluence with a smaller stream.
Take darshan of Lord Shiva as Kirateshwar (Lord of the Kiratas/hunters). The temple is associated with the Mahabharata story where Shiva disguised as a Kirata hunter fought Arjuna.
Enjoy the beautiful riverside setting with the Rangeet River and Sikkim's forested mountains as backdrop. The natural setting adds immensely to the spiritual experience.
