Bade Ganeshji Ka Mandir, Ujjain

Bade Ganeshji Ka Mandir near the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain houses one of the largest Ganesh idols in India. The reclining Ganesh (Panch Mukhi Hanuman is also housed here) is carved from a single rock and is immensely popular with devotees. The temple is managed by a Sanskrit academy and has been a center of Ganesh worship for centuries. It is a must-visit during the Ujjain temple circuit alongside Mahakaleshwar and Kal Bhairav temples.
