The most important Hindi word is "Namaste" (nuh-muh-stay). It means hello AND goodbye! When you say Namaste, you put your palms together in front of your chest and give a small bow. It shows respect and love. Indians say Namaste to everyone - friends, elders, teachers, and even strangers!
